Statewide Ballot Measures

Senate Constitutional Amendment 2: OPPOSE

SCA-2 amends the state constitution to strip voters of the right to vote against controversial welfare housing projects being built in their neighborhoods. These welfare housing projects have been shown to contribute to a large increase in neighborhood crime.

Newsom Ballot Measure 1: OPPOSE

Gavin Newsom is proposing to divert money from homeless treatment programs to give rich developers subsidies for housing first boondoggle developments, costing taxpayers more than $1 million per unit. This initiative throws good money after bad and would undercut our ability to address the root cause of homelessness.

Newsom Ballot Measure 2: OPPOSE

On top of raiding treatment funds, Newsom is also hoping to place a second initiative on the ballot filled with BILLIONS in government bonds to would allow the state to borrow and max out the taxpayer credit card. Where would all the money go? To those same rich developers for even more Housing First boondoggle projects.
