A Free Event that Makes Voting Fun, Easy, and Secure
This year many voters feel overwhelmed by the ballot they have received – with a bunch of confusing ballot measures and hundreds of candidates running for office
That’s why Reform California and Carl DeMaio are hosting a series of “Barbeque, Beer and Ballots” events in every neighborhood in Riverside County to make voting simple, fun and secure.
- Plain English Voter Guide: Every attendee will get a copy of Reform California’s “Plain English Voter” guide that gives a simple description of each ballot measure and scores candidates running for every office based on their positions on opposing taxes, fighting crime, improving schools, creating jobs, and more. You can access the county-wide guide here (www.RiversideVoterGuide.org)
- Election Integrity: We will share tips for how to vote securely by verifying your ballot is counted – as well as how you can monitor the balloting process as a volunteer.
- Questions and Candidates: We’ll be able to answer your questions on key races and propositions on the ballot and we’ll have elected officials and candidates on hand at each event.
PLUS: Pick up lawn signs and door hangers and learn how you can get more involved in the campaigns as a volunteer.
Please RSVP and help us boost turnout of common-sense voters by bringing a friend or family member with you to this upcoming event:
